Martin published the first book in the widely popular Baby-Sitters Club series,Several books have since been turned into graphic novels, a movie, and on July 3, a revamped series hits Netflix with 10 episodes.

Malia Baker plays Mary-Anne Spier and Momona Tamada plays Claudia Kishi. “The stories from the books before are completely timeless,” Malia said about the ongoing popularity of the books.She said the books have always been relatable to kids, and the new series makes the stories even more relatable to kids today.Momona said kids of today will understand the issues tackled in the show.
