District 21-4A champion Washington will play in its second straight regional tournament, beginning Friday against 17-4A champion Center or 19-4A runner-up Little Cypress-Mauriceville. Kenneth Lewis Jr. and Odis Carter Jr. led a balanced scoring night, both pacing the Eagles with 25 points. Carter added six steals, eight rebounds and five assists.

Yates was led by Broderick Malone's 22 points and 13 rebounds, with 19 of his points coming in the second half to keep Yates in the game.
