The Boston Celtics enter Thursday’s game on a seven-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Warriors have yet to win consecutive road games this season.
But Curry anticipates the Warriors’ return to Boston’s iconic parquet court, where they clinched their fourth title in eight years, will be a lively rematch in one of the toughest road environments to play in.
After being stuck in neutral for several months, the Celtics finally had a breakthrough last February and kicked it into high drive over the last two months of the regular season, giving them momentum heading into the playoffs. They went 17-5 out of the All-Star break to snatch the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
“We’ve been talking about putting together games all year but now is the time to do that and show the improvements and continuing to build good habits and start winning a lot of games. It’s been up and down all year on the road. We got a good road win last game and hopefully we can build on it.”Klay Thompson is expected to play Thursday in Boston but he’s likely the only additional help the Warriors are going to get.
