Kin Man Hui/San Antonio Express-NewsDonte DiVincenzo arrived at the Alamodome for Golden State’s practice Thursday night at the Alamodome with a well-rehearsed plan for teasing teammate Jordan Poole.
DiVincenzo came off the bench as a redshirt freshman to score a game-high 31 points on 10 of 15 in 37 minutes.“It got me on the radar,” DiVincenzo, who Milwaukee selected 17th overall nearly three months after the game, said of his performance. “The coolest part was actually running out,” DiVincenzo said. “It was a different setup. In college, we ran out of kind of like a tunnel. The way they set it up was super cool. JP and I were talking about it. The run is so long and you are super tired by the time you get to the court, but it was something we definitely remembered.”DiVincenzo said he was thrilled to learn before the season he would be getting another chance to play at the Alamodome.
