An OPP officer is fighting for his life after a shootout near Hagersville, according to sources.
Sources say the OPP’s focus and priority is on two things: First, their officer, who is in critical, life-threatening condition. At one point, he was considered vital signs absent.
Secondly, officers are trying to track down the couple in a large, black Chevy Silverado pickup truck.the officer who was shot in the mid-section and leg is a rookie. The officer’s peers are really pulling for him to survive while warning people in the Hagersville, Brantford and the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, which all border the road where this happened, to be careful with such dangerous criminals on the loose. From our newsroom to your inbox at noon, the latest headlines, stories, opinion and photos from the Toronto Sun.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.
