“There will be no escape for the perpetrator and his henchmen,” European Union leader Ursula von der Leyen said Friday in a speech to mark the one-year anniversary of the liberation of Bucha, the town that saw some of the worst atrocities in the war. “War criminals will be held accountable for their deeds.”
