The 1.5-million-square-foot highly automated fulfillment center with processes powered by robotics has the capacity to fill twice as many orders as the Fort Worth facility. The average pay at the Lancaster facility is $23 an hour, and its starting pay of $21.15 an hour is $1.15 more an hour than at Walmart’s other local warehouses, Hatfield said.When it opened in 2013, the Fort Worth facility was Walmart’s first e-commerce warehouse in Texas.
