The spread of the coronavirus is leading Walmart to cut store hours at locations nationwide include Neighborhood Market stores.
Stores normally open 24 hours will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. until further notice, the company said late Saturday. Other stores, which are typically open until midnight, will also have reduced hours.
However, not all of Walmart's 5,000-plus stores are affected by the change. Stores that operate under more reduced hours will keep their current hours of operation, Walmart said. The Walmart store locator at www.walmart.com/store/finder did not have the updated hours listed as of Saturday night. The coronavirus is spurring panicked shoppers to stock up on products ranging from cleansing wipes to peanut butter as they prepare to hunker down in the midst of the growing pandemic.
