As the final film in the MCU's Phase 4, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever brought Marvel Studios' audiences back to a grieving Wakanda in the wake of King T'Challa's death by an undisclosed illness.
The Ten Rings are one of the MCU's oldest organizations, introduced as Tony Stark's captives in 2008's Iron Man, and seen to be a constant in Stark's life since his capture. Iron Man 3 saw the Ten Rings parodied by Aldrich Killian, but Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings debuted the true leader of the group, Xu Wenwu, Shang-Chi's own father.
