David Harbour's Santa return is being planned, as Violent Night 2 gets its most promising update yet from director Tommy Wirkola. Violent Night is an R-rated Christmas action movie that was released in theaters in November 2022 and introduced audiences to a very different interpretation of Kris Kringle.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As part of a new interview with The Wrap, director Tommy Wirkola confirmed that Violent Night 2 is in development. When asked about the status of a sequel, he said, "Yes. We’re talking about it and we’re just making deals and getting everything in order."
