Pope Francis was quite persistent in yanking his hand away whenever someone tried to kiss his Piscatory Ring after Mass on Monday.
The papal ring, also known as the Ring of the Fishermen, is significant to Catholicism and represents the pope’s office. Each pope is given his own new ring, which is destroyed after their death.
