A Minnesota teacher has been suspended after a disturbing video surfaced showing a student allegedly locked in a classroom closet.
The video, which is just under a minute long, wasIt shows a closet with two chairs jammed under the door handles — and a hand reaching out under the door.
A student approaches as if to check on the child inside, and a woman’s voice can be heard saying, “No, no, no, no, no; uh huh,” as if to caution that student not to release her classmate.Someone shouts, “The help you need is not going to be here,” and kids can be heard laughing.We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
Not surprisingly, social media and reddit comments showed outrage that a child could be treated in this fashion, and several comments called the incident child abuse.
