In the video, Miguel Medina, 23, in the white hoodie is seen walking west on 18th Street with a bottle and a cell phone in his right hand just before 7 a.m. on July 22, 2022.SEE MORE: Chicago PD officer, sergeant charged in Pilsen shooting that wounded unarmed man, CCSA Kim Foxx says Medina and the juvenile approach the cops before the juvenile stops and turns to leave. Medina appears to show his hands to the officers, who then both open fire.Seconds later, Reynoso and Liakopoulos are out of the car returning fire after prosecutors say the juvenile shot at them. A bystander is grazed in the leg.
A total of five minutes pass before paramedics arrive, during which time the video does not show Reynoso or Liakopoulos rendering aid.
