A video of a U.S. airman, stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, helping an elderly woman — who was using a walker and carrying her groceries — get home has gone viral. Senior Airman Jibril Jennings, who was unaware someone was filming his act of kindness, is now being hailed as a hero online.
Instead, Jennings pulled over and asked her if she would like a ride. Hall, who says she enjoys the exercise her walks provided and isn't bothered by the heat, was still happy to accept Jennings' offer. A woman in her car saw Jennings loading Hall's groceries into the trunk of his car and filmed the encounter.
On their drive to Hall's house, Jennings said a friendship was instantly formed, and that the woman reminded him of his own grandmother.“That man was really a sweet guy,” said Hall. “[I] just couldn't believe it.”
