Four weeks after a King County Metro bus crashed into an indoor skate park, the non-profit, Skate Like A Girl is still struggling to recover.

KOMO News obtained video of the entire crash from eight different angles from King County Metro.
Another angle shows the instant it penetrates the outside of the building, dozens of teenagers running for safety, away from the massive bus, now inside their space. Those teenagers were attending one of Skate Like A Girl’s free programs. The warehouse is now yellow tagged, which means it’s structurally unsafe and nobody is allowed to go into the building.“Where the bus hit is one of our most popular skate features there always kids getting there like every time that we’re there there’s always someone there and earlier that day Spirit , our program manager had rearranged the park, so there was not a feature there in that spot,” said Bradberry.
The group had been gifted free rent in the 4,000-square-foot warehouse that is now yellow-tagged, so what’s next?Skate Like A Girl. They explained that their small staff is still running the day-to-day operations, while also making sure the summer camps people rely on will be up and running when school lets out.
