When his three seniors — Saren Rogers, Miranda Kaack and Sofia Velasco — were sophomores, Victory Christian girls volleyball coach Aaron Simmons promised they’d win a CIF San Diego Section championship.
Junior Keoloha Phillips led the Knights with15 kills, four aces and a block. In the three sets, the Knights had 18 aces.
