“My grandmother had seen the Queen when she was in elementary school but not up close so when she found out the Queen would be coming to Victoria, well I think she really wanted to relive that.” “We stopped at Thrifty’s I think for the flowers and then I remember we were some of the first people there,” said Holness. “We had to wait quite a few hours but slowly the crowd just kept getting bigger and bigger.”
