In theepisode released on February 1, David Beckham opened up about dinner in the Beckham household—including the fact that Victoria has eaten the same meal every day since he met her more than 25 years ago. “She only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables; she will very rarely deviate from that,” he explains with a laugh.
David, on the other hand, is apparently a natural in the kitchen, whipping up a plate of tagliatelle with girolles, butter, and parmesan for Rogers before recording the podcast. Another interesting point from their discussion: the footballer’s devotion to Jewish cuisine, which he ate frequently as a child. “Every Saturday, when we’d turn up, my gran would have the most amazing chicken noodle soup, with the matzo meal dumplings… That was what I was brought up on.
