MADD Canada’s National President Jaymie-Lyne Hancock took part in the memorial monument ceremonies to honour 137 impaired driving victims.Unveiling the new Ontario Memorial Monument was personal for her because it includes her brother D.J.’s name. His parents were at the tryout, and were driving just a few minutes behind D.J.“It means so much to my family that we can memorialize D.J. in this way,” Hancock said.
“One of the most important things for victims’ families is keeping their loved ones’ memories alive and making sure their deaths were not in vain. We want to honour their lives and share their stories so that we can help prevent this senseless tragedy from happening to others.”There was an error, please provide a valid email address.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.
