Victim in Friday shooting in Scarborough identified

Gars-Ara Kourjakian, 34, of Toronto has been identified as the victim, according to police.

Around 5:30 p.m., police were called to an apartment building in the Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East area for a shooting.Gars-Ara Kourjakian, 34, of Toronto, has been identified as the victim, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
