A witness to a Sidney dog attack says everyone was very shaken up after two dogs attacked a woman Friday afternoon.
Katherine Margetts, co-owner of The Shop, says she was in front of her store with a friend when they heard a commotion.Margetts screamed then says one of the dogs started coming towards her and her friend.
Margetts says two other witnesses were able to help the woman and bring her into another nearby store, where they then called 911 for help. Margetts says the dogs had escaped from a fenced yard of a Sidney home across the street before the attack. The dogs’ owner was not outside when they escaped, but he came out right away and caught his dogs.
Margetts says the dogs had extensively bitten the woman’s arms, and she was brought to the hospital by paramedics.
