Taylor Swift Toronto tickets went on sale Wednesday but many got put on a waiting list as opposed to getting a verfied code to buy a ticket.
Ticketmaster previously revealed after registering, only a “limited number of registered Verified Fans” would receive a unique access code to buy tickets, with all other Swifties being placed on a wait list with next to no hope of being bumped up later to get a verified code.
But he points out what isn’t known is exactly how many verified tickets for Nov. 14-15 actually went on sale Wednesday and how many will be held back for a still-to-be announced general on-sale. “It’s up to the artist and the promoter and TicketMaster to work in conjunction to decide how many tickets are going to go on sale for the verified fan. They may hold some back just to build the buzz and get more hype. Now would be the perfect time to teach your child about the act of supply and demand.”As for cost, initial front floor seat prices were between $530 to $600, lower bowl seats for $400 to $500, 200-section seats for approximately $375, and 500-section seats between $150 and $200.
“There’s going to be a lot of scams going on with people selling their tickets through third party sites that just don’t have them,” he said. “Just keep your eye out for the public sale.”
