VANCOUVER, B.C.: Saturday, April 27. Today’s weather is going to be windy, with gusts of up to 80 km/h in some parts of the region. Environment Canada has posted a special weather statement for Metro Vancouver, saying the region can expect strong northwesterly winds of 60 km/h gusting up to to 80 km/h to funnel down the Georgia Strait and impact Metro Vancouver Saturday morning. The winds will continue throughout the day, the agency said, and weaken in the evening.
