Environment and Climate Change Canada has posted a special weather statement for heavy rain today and on Easter Sunday.
Overnight, there’s more rain coming with the temperature remaining steady at 10 C. Heavy rain is forecast for Easter Sunday, with up to 25 millimetres expected, and highs of 12 C. Then, the week will likely start out with rain on Monday followed by showers on Tuesday, highs of 10 C both days. Residents should have some reprieve from the soggy weather on Wednesday as the forecast calls for sunshine and 11 C. Thursday looks even warmer, with a mix of sun and cloud and highs of 13 C.
