Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart has responded in court to allegations he defamed his political rivals in the Non\u002DPartisan Association.

The plaintiffs include NPA president David Mawhinney, and past and current directors of the party’s board — Christopher Wilson, David Pasin, Phyllis Tang, Angelo Isidorou, Federico Fuoco, and Wesley Mussio, who is also a lawyer and the one who filed the defamation lawsuit., he launched a separate court petition seeking to remove Green Coun. Michael Wiebe, a political opponent of the NPA, from office over an alleged conflict of interest.
