Vale is celebrating. Sudbury's largest mining and refining company is holding a community open house later this month to showcase what the company has been doing in terms of expanding and enhancing local operations.
Meehan added the event will include a tour of the company's much-talked-about Integrated Remote Operations Centre , an innovative a state-of-the-art facility located at the company’s North Atlantic Operations Centre. There will also be a tour of Vale's Copper Cliff greenhouse. Also, don't expect speeches, but there will be Vale representatives available to discuss their respective areas one on one with visitors, said Meehan.
