While ideally Victoria storefronts would be bustling with businesses, a city councillor wants to see empty storefronts turned over to public art.

Public art adds vitality and character to a city’s downtown. It can beautify. But it can also polarize.

“The city is launching a project to fill our vacant storefronts with art, media, artists and activation,” says Victoria Coun. Matt Dell.
