Uvalde, Santa Fe families rally for gun safety bills on five-year anniversary of Parkland massacre

Gutierrez has been one of the most vocal state lawmakers about issues related to the mass shooting that killed 19 students and two teachers last May.
The bills will include the creation of a bulk ammunition database and new age requirements for purchasing weapons. Another proposal will tackle firearm storage, according to Gutierrez’s office.
