Next week, two Utah artists will head to New York City to take part in an experience they've never had before.
Center for Latter-day Saint ArtsHeaton, who works as an artistic director at a local dance company, loves to dance and choreograph but finds she doesn’t always get to in her day job.
That’s why she’s so excited for the opportunity to take part in the residency – all expenses paid – where she can focus on being an artist and exploring her spirituality. The residency runs from October 15-21. During it, Heaton will work with dancers to produce a film centered on things she's gone through with her own faith.
