After UCLA defeated Cal in Berkeley, Utah_Football’s chances of returning to the Pac-12 championship game remain alive. Now they need to win today’s game and get some more outside help.

The University of Utah’s chances of returning to the Pac-12 championship game remained alive Friday night after UCLA defeated Cal in Berkeley, 35-28. The Utes now need to defeat Colorado on Saturday afternoon, plus have Oregon State beat Oregon in the 126th meeting between them, and Washington beat Washington State in the 114th edition of the Apple Cup in Pullman.

One interesting factor here is that Utah-Colorado and Oregon-Oregon State will be taking place simultaneously, with the latter kicking off a half hour earlier at Reser Stadium in Corvallis. The Apple Cup is an 8:30 p.m. kickoff.
