"He was arrested two times in our relationship, Hackford said. "And in my mind I thought he has to know what he did was wrong; he's going to learn so I wanted to believe that." "Separate yourself from someone who makes you think that you cant because the second that you believe you can — it will change and it will be better," she said.
"I want to at least for now bring awareness to the public on the need for shelters , funding and donations to even help the shelters that we have now to staff and run the programs they have for the people that come there," Wilson said.
