There are all kinds of coaches out there – life coaches, executive coaches, speaking coaches, media coaches, career coaches, voice coaches, leadership coaches, and of course coaches for sports teams and athletes. Find out about a coach that uses nature to help us achieve our potential and lead.
Her name is Tabitha Jayne and she has two Masters degrees in the psychology field, and formerly worked in a psychiatric hospital in her native Scotland, until her brother died suddenly in a car accident 18 years ago and she decided her life needed a left turn.
Based on her own experience finding solace and direction in her long walks in nature, Jayne developed this unique coaching approach, as she told me, creating the coaching program she wishes she had had when her brother died.
She added the suggestion to “observe and reflect on your experience” in nature and “how different your decisions are becoming,” and to integrate these reflections into your portfolio of skills, talents and networks that you use in your career.... [+]“Believe in yourself” – especially women Jayne said she has observed that her female coaching clients and coaches she is training tend to not believe in themselves as much as her male clients do.
“t is so important to believe in yourself, to trust all the skills, knowledge and experience that you have and build upon that integrating them into your next stage, so that you will be able to see yourself doing well on that next journey. And, believe me, when you bring all that skillset together and believe in yourself, that is truly when miracles start to happen and in moving forward within your career.
