SYDNEY, N.S. – A Port Morien resident who left home early Friday morning and was later reported missing has been found safe.
Cape Breton Regional Police and Cape Breton Search and Rescue issued a release late Friday night that they were searching for James Bernard Burns, whose family was concerned for his well-being. Police say Burns had left walking from his Port Morien residence on Gowie Street this morning and didn't return.After missing since about 5:30 a.m. on July 5, police say they found Burns shortly after midnight. Police and search teams were staged around the Port Morien area Friday.
