Multiple fire trucks were on scene, with hoses leading up to the home on the 200-block of Wellington Street East
Three people are in hospital after a morning house fire on Wellington Street East, west of Bruce Street.
"Upon arrival, there was visible smoke from the second floor of the multi-unit residential structure. Firefighters assisted and removed two residents from one of the units on the second level. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire," Gravelle said in a press release. Sault Police blocked Wellington Street East at Bruce Street on Monday morning while firefighters responded to a house fire.
