Police say the suspect they were involved with in a spree of shootings in the City and Township of Langley early Monday morning is no longer a threat to the public.
Langley RCMP Drug Section Sgt. Rebecca Parslow told Vancouver Is Awesome that an emergency alert was issued "out of an abundance of cause" until investigators could confirm that the suspect was acting alone. "The Langley RCMP with the assistance of the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, took one male into custody who we believe is responsible for the shootings," she said.
