Police investigate sudden death in Alloy Drive area
THUNDER BAY —Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male in the intercity area of Thunder Bay.
Officers were dispatched at 10:50 am Wednesday to Alloy Drive near the Canada Post mail processing facility to assist paramedics and firefighters after an unresponsive person was found in a grassy area.Members of the TBPS major crimes and forensic identification units are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
An area between the Canada Post building and a nearby office building has been cordoned off, and a significant police presence remains. Police have not yet indicated whether or not foul play is suspected, but are expected to provide an update later.
