THUNDER BAY – Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has announced that it will be reopening its casinos across the province, that were closed due to a cyber security incident, incrementally over the next few days.
Gateway Casino officials announced in a media release that its Innisfill location will be reopening at 1 p.m. Saturday with the other 14 properties to follow incrementally. “While this has been an unfortunate incident,” the release read. “We will continue to work with our third-party experts to determine the impacts to personal information, if any, and will keep you updated as we resolve this cyber incident.” It is currently unknown when the Thunder Bay location will be opened, but a Company official said that it can be expected to open soon as the company works its way out from Innisfill to its 14 other locations.
