Sunday's scene was like a mirror image of an Oct. 24 incident directly across the street, where the front of the Shell convenience store was hit by an 82-year-old driver
Police report that there were no injuries or charges laid against the 46-year-old driver after a vehicle went through a window at the Circle K on McNabb Street.
A few weeks after the front window of a McNabb Street gas station convenience store was smashed into by a vehicle, similar damage was seen Sunday at the convenience store directly across the street. The Circle K at 381 McNabb St. was still open for business on Sunday, despite extensive damage to the front window and masonry. The damage to the front of the store is consistent with a collision from a vehicle, but no damaged vehicles were on the scene at the time SooToday was there.
A similar incident scene occurred on Oct. 24 at the Shell gas station convenience store, which is directly across the street from the Circle K. In that incident, an 82-year-old driver was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons and no charges were laid.
