The chilly fall conditions continue Sunday, with a few showers around too.
INDIANAPOLIS — Clouds will move in throughout the day as an upper-level system pushes moisture back into the region. It'll be a cool start to, with temperatures slowly warming through the 40s as we approach the mid-50s by kickoff. Temperatures remain well below-average, with highs ranging from the upper 50s from Kokomo to Richmond, where clouds build in first, to near 60 degrees in the Indy metro and into the low 60s across the southwest tier of the state, where we see more sunshine.
Temperatures will be more seasonal by Wednesday, with highs returning to the upper 60s, but the pattern will become more active. A warm front will push closer to the area, bringing scattered rain showers starting in the late afternoon Wednesday. This boundary then looks to stall north of the area on Thursday, keeping the better rain chances at bay, allowing temperatures to recover into the mid-70s with several dry hours.
