Unrest report should be released in July: SAHRC

The commission says the report was in part delayed by the departure of one of the writers during the finalisation of the report. Commissioners have told Parliament’s Justice and Correctional Services Committee that they'll be submitting the provisional report to external stakeholders at the end of this month for their response.

The report is expected to shed light on human rights violations during the unrest and those behind the anarchy.
