A release from the institution says the group's dynamic expertise and experience will strengthen the ‘by and for’ governance of the institution
The Université de Sudbury has appointed eight new members to its board of governors, a move the institution said is fulfilling the institution’s mandate to provide education “by and for” the francophone community.
“The profiles of these new members are tangible proof of the dynamism, commitment and diversity of the Franco-Sudburian community,” said Serge Miville, president and vice-chancellor of the Université de Sudbury. “Their expertise and experience will be an undeniable asset to the work and reflections of the Board and to the transition of the Université de Sudbury into a French-language institution ‘by and for’ Francophones.
