JUST IN: The University of California Board of Regents has voted not to intervene in UCLA's planned move to the Big Ten Conference in 2024.
The University of California Board of Regents has voted not to intervene in UCLA's planned move to the Big Ten Conference in 2024. But in return for the lack of opposition, UCLA will be required to contribute an amount of money ranging from $2 million to $10 million to UC Berkeley to "enhance student-athlete support at that campus.''
The amount of the contribution will be determined based on upcoming Pac-12 athletics media-rights agreements and on "best available information on projected revenues for both campuses.
