Fellow rookie MLA Ron Wiebe said he is grateful for advice from his predecessor in Grande Prairie-Wapiti, former finance minister Travis Toews.“He said just to buckle down, and hang on for the ride,” he said, describing his experience during the ceremony as “just a surreal feeling” while looking ahead to the four years to come.
