A Ukrainian human rights activist has said ‘I don’t know much time I have left’ as Russia begins a military invasion of the country.
Ukrainian human rights activist Oleksandra Matviychuk says she will stay in Kyiv and continue her work for as long as she has left begins a military invasion of the country.
The attack began after weeks of build-up on Ukraine’s borders, which involved up to 190,000 troops being massed in preparation. She said: ‘I’m sure that we need only time, we will self-organise and we will defend our city. Now a lot depends on the reaction of the West.
