A Ukrainian nurse who lost her legs in a landmine explosion has shared an emotional first dance with her husband after getting married in a hospital. Victor, the groom, held his wife Oksana in his arms as they danced on the ward in the western city of Lviv.The 23-year-old nurse from the eastern city of Lysychansk lost her legs on 27 March as she and Victor were returning home"on a familiar path", the Lviv Medical Association said.He was not injured, but Oksana lost her legs and four fingers on her left hand.
They bought wedding rings in Lviv, and found Oksana a white dress, with a cake baked by volunteers. The wedding celebration took place on the ward of the surgery centre.
