This is an artist's rendering of a new state-of-the-art education and conference center to be constructed at UH’s University Circle campus, the health system announced Monday. A $15 million gift from longtime UH benefactors Iris and the late Bert Wolstein will help fund construction.
The new building will be “a transformational building for Euclid Avenue, for our campus and for University Circle,” said Dr. Daniel Simon, president for academic and external affairs and UH chief scientific officer. UH expects to break ground in about two years. “We really need our own space,” Simon said. “It’s a place to convene our caregivers, not just physicians and nurses, but also allied health professionals for education.”
