The highly improbable became next to impossible for the generally awful Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday.
The pathetic performances resulted in a 32-15 loss, spoiling an other wise beautiful day for most of the 20,464 at TD Place. The Alouettes, who clinched a post-season berth with the victory, were without some key players in Austin Mack, the CFL’s leading receiver, cornerback Kordell Rodgers and return specialist Chandler Worthy.
Devante Williams gave the Redblacks offence the same number of TDs as the Alouettes’ defence when he scored on four-yard run with 4:41 remaining.
