TRURO, N.S. — It’s time to break out the ugly Christmas sweater and put your running shoes on. The annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Run is returning to Truro ...

, will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4. Registration is at 8 a.m., with runners meeting at the TAAC Grounds Clubhouse on 57 Golf Street, Truro.

While around 30 runners have signed up early, Bulk expects many to register on the day of the run. She has seen nearly 200 runners in previous years. “They are really great supporters and we always know that they’re going to help us out,” said Howell. “We’re grateful, truly grateful for them always wanting to help out the Christmas Index, just so we can make sure all of our kids have a good Christmas.”
