BREAKING: Major delays on S-Line after train vs. car crash; line closed between Central Pointe, 300 East stations in South Salt Lake
A van bridge was put into place between the Central Pointe Station and 300 East stations, both in South Salt Lake. It was canceled approximately a half-hour later when the crash scene was cleared. However, residual delays were expected throughout the morning, with passengers seeing between 10 - 15 minutes of extra time on the S-Line in both directions.
Details on the crash were not provided. It wasn't clear if anyone was injured. Neither UTA nor the Utah Department of Transportation provided the exact address of the incident.
