Uber stock debuts at $42, below launch price
ToplineAfter launching a decade ago and becoming a household brand , Uber debuts Friday in one of the most anticipated and highly valued IPOs in history.
But UberThe stock, priced at $45 on Thursday, slipped to $42 when it started trading Friday, on a day when markets dropped on the news that President Trump had: Shares priced at $45, the company said late Thursday, the low end of an expected $44-$50 range. Uber is selling 180 million shares, raising $8.1 billion, and some investors have agreed to sell an additional 27 million. Shares will trade under UBER on the New York Stock Exchange.
